WORK PERFECTLY IN DRY, WET AND EVEN FLOODED HOLES.
The Rod Fix RS-750 is a high-load chemical anchor mortar designed for reliable and versatile fixing in concrete. Its advanced formulation offers a range of features for efficient and durable installations.
Key Features
High Load Capacity: Engineered to handle significant loads, providing secure anchoring for demanding applications.
Fast Cure: Quickly sets, allowing for faster project completion and reduced waiting times.
Thixotropic Formula: Its non-sagging consistency makes it ideal for both vertical and horizontal fixings.
Versatile in All Conditions: Performs perfectly in dry, wet, and even flooded holes, ensuring reliability regardless of site conditions.
Expansion-Free Fixing: Provides stress-free anchoring, which is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the concrete substrate.
Minimal Odor: Features a very low odor, contributing to a more comfortable working environment.
Good Chemical Resistance: Offers durability and longevity, even when exposed to various chemicals.
Flexible Anchoring: Allows for anchoring close to substrate edges and at reduced anchor spacing, offering greater design flexibility.
Certified Performance:
European Technical Approval (ETA): ETAG 001 Part 5 Option 7 for threaded bars.
LEED Tested: Meets sustainability standards.
A+ Classification: Complies with compulsory French VOC emissions regulations, indicating very low volatile organic compound emissions.
Usage Instructions for Optimal Performance
Achieving the best results with Rod Fix RS-750 requires proper hole preparation and application technique. Follow these steps carefully:
Drill Hole: Drill the hole to the correct diameter and depth as specified for your application.
Clean Hole Thoroughly: This is a critical step for proper bonding. Clean the hole using a brush and compressed air in the following sequence:
Blow twice
Brush twice
Blow twice
Brush twice
Blow twice
Prepare Cartridge:
Remove the screw cap from the cartridge.
Attach the mixer nozzle provided with the cartridge.
Place the cartridge into the applicator gun.
Dispense Initial Resin: Dispense approximately 10ml of resin to waste until an even color is achieved. This ensures proper mixing of the two-part chemical.
Inject Resin: Inject the resin into the far end of the hole, filling it approximately 2/3 full.
Insert Threaded Bar: Insert a threaded bar into the hole with a rotating motion until it reaches the bottom. Leave it undisturbed until the specified load time has elapsed.
Attach Fixture (if applicable): Once the resin has cured, attach the fixture and tighten the nut as required.
